Dear all of my millions of readers...
So today i finished my first exam which was okay. I'm finally convinced that my teacher actually has a heart, as she today gave us questions she knows we all more or less can answer. The class is called French prose. It's a bit annoying, but at least i learn quite a lot. But i'm really psyched that I will NEVER have to write about "L'étranger" (The stranger) or "La femme rompue" (The woman destroyed)... Knock on wood! Well, i still have my oral exam in the same subjet in a couple of weeks, but speaking French has always been easier than writing french. For me, at least. So that's one out of six exams. It's actually really weird how badly I dread exams before the whole exam period start, but once I've sat through my first one, it isn't that bad. So my next one is this friday, which pretty much gives me today and tomorrow to study. And I'm not studying right now, so... Good luck, me! Anyways, in general, I think exams are overrated. I mean it's not THAT bad. And there are more important things in life.. And yes, i KNOW that bar exams and that crap is really important, as they decide the whole future for certain people, but.. Come on! There is so much more to life to be excited about!
Yeah, well that's enough motivational speaking for today.
I have to go study now (..but I'll probably end up watching How i met your mother all day, which I recently realized is LEGEN... wait for it... DARY!)
-Peace

Inside jokes...
Hey all...
Even though I probably have a really BIG sixpack under my belly from laughing CONSTANTLY in France during the last 5 weeks, I really missed one thing; Inside jokes! We obviously "made" some inside jokes in Caen (like "Dæven Døtte!", "un monstre", "I'm a singelet!" and "Inside We've english menu and we are happy to speak with you... Welcome in "Greece"!), but for me, the most random and funny inside jokes are the ones i share with Aggi (aka Aggz/Kos' number 1 marathon master ;). I love inside jokes because they are funny n'importe quoi (nomatter what). I can't even count the times Aggi and I have laughed at people saying "eg skjede meg", "eg hva på tur" or "lage pannekakker". And i don't even care if other people don't find it funny, because you know what? They are! So... there!
But one of the funniest must be when people ask for "ice lumps" in stead of ice cubes, or when people write "koob" instead of cube. And do you know what the funniest about inside jokes is? They stay with you forever, even if you forget them for a while, they're still there! And when you keep sharing memories with your friends, inside jokes pop up (to quote Shakira) whenever, wherever.
The three utlimate inside jokes at the moment:
1) "I'm Ted. What's your name?"
2) Youuu shall not paaaaaaass! (although CERTAIN people laugh more than others ;)
3) Lily, ...come on!
And that's just for now! There are more to come in the future!
C'est tout pour aujourd'hui!

My Sexy Bébé Kozejenta.
Over the last few weeks I have come to find that a dear, dear friend of mine is not only sweet like a "rose" (in a british accent), but is also quite a funny little bird. During these last few weeks we have spent together in Caen (France), we have had our share of laughs; for example when Hanne (Sexy bébé kozejenta) suddenly shouts: "Nei, daeven DOETTE!" ...This way of expressing oneself in Norwegian is of a kind that is normally only used by the older generation (and by that i mean my grandma..) ... and Hanne.
And why is it that the very SECOND Hanne (who is, fyi, NOT at all a dog person) finds it rather entertaining to pet a very, VERY dirty street dog outside of Bar-O... she is indeed a funny one, Hanne.
Anyays, that is all for today. As for Hanne, she is fine (but still smells a TINY bit of DOG)
Bye folks. xoxo ;)

11:30 : Ellen!
I'm sitting at home with my mom (who came back to Norway yesterday). Or actually, I'M sitting. My mom is all over the place cleaning, doing laundry and sort of whining in disappointment by the fact that my standards for a clean apartment are not at all the same as my mother's.
It's almost 11:30, and I'm psyched, because ELLEN DeGeneres is on in like 5 minutes! I don't really know why I like it that much, I guess it's kinda like -'Friends'. I mean, their lives only revolve around drinking coffee and laughing at coffee house. It kinda makes you forget about your own problems. Not that I have serious problems that I am constantly thinking of. I just meant that all the things that are on your mind like the bills you should have paid, the homework you should have done and the apartment that you should have cleaned... These all disappear for 45 minutes while I'm watching Ellen or friends. It's not like Oprah or Dr. Phil, where it's all about problems and rapists, drugs, sex, violence etc etc. I actually get more stressed from watching these shows. And I mean what's the point of the whole thing? "Oh no, my granddad tried to rape my dog, I know how we will all get through this! Let's all talk about it and cry on TV!! :D" .... I never really got that.
But Ellen is awesome! AND FUNNY! ...
Anyways, Ellen is starting RIGHT now, so I'm off.
Peace.

A Random introduction of myself...(?)
As I am confused about the whole blogging situation, I have chosen to dedicate this first blog to myself (I mean, come on, most people who blog only talk about themselves and their lives anyways. Right, Aggi? ;).
My name is Kristian, I am almost 19, and I live on a small island outside of Stavanger. No, it's not close to Oslo, and no, i am probably not acquainted with some random Norwegian guy named Ole who you might have met who happens to be Norwegian as well.. I am aware of the fact that Norway is a country with a (arguably) smaller international significance, and that only 4.8 million people live in Norway, but this does NOT mean that I know every Norwegian. I have, however, found myself in the same naïve situation before, by asking a person who happens to be from India if he knows someone I already know who is also Indian. Oh well, I guess that's just how it is. Everyone tends to be a bit narrow-minded when it comes to a different culture or a different country. So it's quite funny how we all tend to 'protect' our own nationality and our own cultural heritage, even though we normally don't give two flying fucks..
Ok, this turned into a lot more than just introducing myself, but i guess inner speech and reflection is what blogging is all about (?).
I love my friends, I love my family, I love music, i love acting, I love my piano, I love my guitar, I love food, I love popping zits, I love scratching mosquito bites, I love laughing at Judge Fu and hate him with a burning passion at the same time (inside joke), I love red wine, I love shisha, I love myself, and most importantly, I LOVE laughing.
I honestly do believe that a good laugh is what life is about. The best times I've ever had include screaming, singing, dancing, drinking, talking and, of course, laughing. And I love the fact that laughing is something I do every single day.
Music is a big part of my life. I sing, I play the guitar and the piano. For others, sure, but mostly for myself. I love jamming with my friends, or just playing the piano and the guitar while singing alone. It might sound cheesy, but it soothes me.
Going to the gym is also a very big part of my life. NOT! I don't know why pretty much everyone is a gym member. Is it to clear ones conscience? To be able to tell people that you have a gym membership, even though you hardly ever go to the gym and 399 kroners (about 50 dollars) is drawn from your bank account every month? Hmm.. I just realized that I do have things on my mind that might not be that interesting, but they are still thoughts. And it's nice to be able to express ones thoughts. N'est-ce pas?
Randomness is a funny word. I love random things. I love saying random and sometimes slightly inappropriate things. I mean, why does everything always have to make sense? Because it doesn't. I guess I am random, and you know what? I like it. I like it long-time.
I see now that this was supposed to be an introduction of myself, but ended up as a random collection of my weird thoughts. But then again, this shows that I am, in fact, a random person
( ;)+:O ) ... I know, I know!
